Newcastle United

Newcastle United were founded in 1892 by the merger of Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End and have played at their current home ground, St James' Park, ever since. The ground was developed into an all-seater stadium in the mid-1990s and now has a capacity of over 50,000. The club has been a member of the Premier League for all but two years of the competition's history, and has never dropped below English football's second tier since joining the Football League in 1893. The Magpies’ club shop is located at St.James' Park (South East "Strawberry" corner), with another outlet at Metro Centre. Football fans with time to kill during the week can take a tour of the stadium, with guided tours hosted daily. The club’s restaurant is adorned with artefacts, memorabilia and iconic photographs that feature some of the greatest players ever to have pulled on the black and white jersey. For fans who prefer being closer to the action, a matchday ticket promises an excellent view of proceedings from the club's iconic stadium. Young, old or somewhere in between, fans of all ages are in unanimous agreement on this one: come 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, there’s no better place to be.

Awesome as usual, very friendly iconic stadium home of 52000+ passionate, screaming football fans every other week! Plenty bars if you fancy a tipple, betting shops if that your thing. there's also great conferencing options and the stadium tours on offer
